X Games 16 and U.S. Open of Surfing this Summer!!

Here at Botanical Wisdom, we like extreme sports, and it doesn't get much better for extreme sports than the X Games and the U.S. Open of Surfing, both going down this summer 2010!

X Games 16:
From July 29 to August 1, you can experience the 16th annual action sports event in downtown L.A. between the STAPLES Center, Nokia Theatre, the Los Angeles Coliseum and L.A. LIVE. X-Games 16 will mark the seventh consecutive event in the Los Angeles area. What makes this the best X Games is the 31 hours of live HD programming on ESPN and ESPN2 which will be airing over four days. ESPN3.com will also be offering online viewing and nightly updates of course on ESPN Sportcenter! X Games 16 will feature: Moto X, Rally Car racing, Skateboarding, and BMX riding. Some keynote athletes include: Bob Burnquist, Bucky Lasek, Ken Block, Travis Pastrana, Scotty Cranmer and many more!

U.S. Open of Surfing:
The nine-day event takes place from July 31 through August 8th in Huntington Beach, California. The U.S. Open of Surfing 2010 is once again showcasing elite athletes, fashion and music with over 50 years of competitive surfing history at the famed Huntington Beach Pier. The U.S. Open of Surfing is presented by Hurley, Nike 6.0 and Converse who will host 500 world-class athletes and expects to bring in more than 500,000 spectators over the nine day event. Surfing's biggest names will be at Surfing's biggest event!
